Summary:

A young officer (Jack Nicholson) in Napoleon's army finds himself lost along a stretch of beach, where he is seduced by the beautiful Helene (Sandra Knight). His obsession with this woman leads him to the castle of an elderly baron (Boris Karloff) who finds himself tortured by the ghost of his wife.
