Summary:

Killer's Tavern. It's the name of a successful bar in New York. Success attracts greed, and there is no one greedier than Robert Fitzgerald (alias Bobby-Fitz). Bobby-Fitz controls the local Mafia scene. Gambling, prostitution and loan sharking are all routine daily activities. Bobby-Fitz decides that Killer's Tavern is an ideal location for laundering the mob's money.

Mary Killoran and her brother, Jimmy, own Killer's Tavern. Jimmy has a taste for gambling. He owes money, and a lot of it, to Bobby-Fitz. Mary, however, refuses to relinquish control of the bar in order to settle her brother's gambling debts, which means that now they face the full fury of Bobby-Fitz and the Mafia.
