When down and out rocker Dan Stone (Christopher) and his band are dumped by their record label, they hatch the ultimate last-ditch attempt at rock ‘n’ roll fame: faking Dan’s death to get big-time publicity. But, hiding out and waiting for fame isn’t much fun, and when a beautiful reporter arrives to investigate Dan’s demise, he must decide whether to stay undercover . . . or come clean and make a play for the girl of his dreams.
